Remote Barking Refraining Neck Ring

Remote barking refraining neck ring is the sole humane, safe and highly efficient electronic product for pet education. It is composed of a host remote controller and a radio receiving neck ring, in which receiving ring is put on pet neck controlled by host remote controller. BB sound or high frequency vibration can be sent out from receiving ring. 

High frequency vibration is used to disturb the current action of the pet without any harm, which can attain surprising effect for refraining from barking of pet dog. When vibration effect is achieved, host should teach pet dog about the bad behavior in time. Through many times of education, bad behavior of the pet dog would be reduced obviously. BB sound is used to transmit instruction of host. Through training, the particular BB sound can let pet dog understand host’s instruction, for instance B-B-B orders pet dog “come back”.

A.     Preparation Before Use

1.       Check remote controller: Press the two keys, a big and a small, of remote controller respectively, and indicator would be lit. If indicator is not lit or turned dim, the cell should be replaced.

2.       Check receiver: turn cell switch to ON position and depress emission key of the controller, then receiver would send out “BB” sound or high frequency vibration. If the “BB” sound becomes weak or cannot be heard, it is necessary to replace cell inside the receiver.

3.       Properly connect neck ring with receiver and adjust length of neck ring to suit pet dog neck, looseness of which is tested with one finger inserting.

4.       Depress the big key of controller and neck ring would send out BB sound. Different rhythm of sound is adopted to train pet dog receiving host’s instruction. Each instruction should have its fixed rhythm. Keep on training and it is sure to effect. For instance, “B-B-B” stands for “come back”.

5.       Depress small key of remote controller and high frequency vibration of neck ring can refrain from pet dog’s improper action. Each time after effective refraining, host should teach pet dog what is wrong and what is right. Through many times of training the pet would understand what host like and what he dislike for its actions.

B.     Method of Use

1.       Turn power supply switch of the receiver to “OFF” position.

2.       Open the button of neck ring. Put it onto neck of pet and adjust looseness judged by one finger being inserted in between.

3.       When neck ring is put on for the first time, the pet would feel more or less uncomfortable. Then do not be in a hurry to use remote controller. When it is sure that the pet has got used to neck ring, open cell switch of neck ring receiver and check work state with BB sound. High frequency vibration is used to refrain pet’s improper action, therefore cannot be abused or used as a tool for fooling with pet.

4.       When it is certain the remote controller is not used, shut off power supply of neck ring receiver to prolong service time of cell.

5.       After shutting off power supply of the receiver, it is allowed not to take off neck ring. Because of the effect of condition reflection, the everyday training command is still effective.

6.       When not in use of neck ring receiver for a long period of time, it can be taken off and remember to shut off power supply.

C.     Replacement Method of Cell：

1.       Receiver: The shell of the receiver is fixed with two screws. Turn the screws in counter-clockwise direction with tools. After opening the plastic shell, a cell (type CR-2) can be found. Take out the cell, replace it with a new one and then put back shell fixed by screws. 

2.       Remote controller: there is a cell cover at lower part of the back of controller, which can be opened by pushing along direction of the arrow. Take out the cell (type 23A), replace it with a new one and then put back cell cover.

3.       Type CR-2 cell is the exclusive high volume cell for camera, of which both 3V and 3.6V are available. Type 23A cell is the exclusive cell for 12V remote controller. Both cells are common specialized ones which are available in supermarket, department store, and photographic studio. Indicate cell type while in purchase.  

4.       Service time of cell varies with difference of use situation. Electric energy in controller is consumed only when key is depressed and signal is emitted. Thus normally service time of a cell is over one year. After power supply is on, the receiver remains in stand-by state in which slight amount of electric energy has to be consumed. Stand-by time of CR-2 lithium cell exceeds 500 hours. To extend replacement cycle of a cell, when it is certain remote controlled neck ring is not used, shut off power supply of the receiver.

D.     Notes：

1.       When neck ring is put on for the first time, some of pets would behave agitated. It should leave some time for pets to be adapted. Remote controller cannot be started until it is determined the pet is used to it.

2.       After power supply is on, receiver remains at stand-by state. Thus in pause period of time, be sure shut off power supply so as to prolong service life of a cell.

3.       Digital and sonic frequency transmission technologies are adopted in the remote controller, in which remote control signal can penetrate barrier and there is no need for the controller to point at receiver. However barrier would affect useful distance of the controller.

4.       Useful distance of remote control has things to do with type of the controller. A remote controller with the effective distance of more than 150 meters (straight line and barrier free) is equipped for the product. Moreover, remote controllers of 500m, 1000m and 2000m are available.

5.       BB sound of the receiver can be used to educate pet. When depressing big key of the controller in rhythm, the correspondent BB sound would be heard. A fixed rhythm of education should be insisted on and pet can then understand intention of host. Persevere and a surprising effect would be achieved. 

6.       High frequency vibration of the receiver is used to stop improper action of pet. Each time the high frequency vibration time should not last for too long (within 30 seconds) so as to avoid receiver damage caused by overheat and too much consumption of cell energy. It is hereby advised that high frequency vibration be not used to fool with pets.

7.       The remote neck ring is, at present, most humane pet training tool. Use as per proper manner could train pets safely and effectively without any hurt.

8.        Though it is a seal and damp proof design, it is not allowed to drench receiver in water. In case it is dripped by water, dry and then use.
